王旭东，男，1965年出生。博士，教授，博士生导师，西北农林科技大学资源环境学院副院长。土壤学专业，研究方向为土壤质量及农业废弃物无害化处理和循环利用。2004-2005年在加拿大进行留学访问。围绕土壤改良，土壤质量提升等开展了畜禽粪便、作物秸秆无害化处理和资源化循环利用等研究。针对目前农业存在的土壤次生盐渍化、酸化、土壤养分紊乱、连作障碍等问题，开展了相关科学问题和技术及产品研发的研究。承担十二五科技支撑计划“黄土高原农果牧复合循环技术集成与示范”课题中的农业废弃物的无害化处理及肥料化利用内容（2012BAD14B11，201年-2016年）、农业部行业专项“旱地合理耕层构建技术指标研究-西北高原黑垆土旱地合理耕层构建技术集成与示范”（2015-2019年），国家重点研发专项子课题“甘肃河西盐渍土区春小麦减肥减药技术研究与示范”（2018年），杨凌高新农业示范区“蔬菜废弃物无害化处理和肥料化利用”等课题。获得国家发明专利多件，如“一种生物质炭及其包含生物质炭堆肥的制作方法和应用”、“一种畜禽粪便发酵启动剂及其使用方法”“生物质炭基硅肥及其制备方法和应用”等。其中“黄土高原农果牧复合循环技术集成与示范”获陕西省科学技术一等奖
